The effect of baseline eczema or psoriasis on the morphology of cutaneous immune-related adverse events due to immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy

To the Editor: Inflammatory skin reactions have been associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors.1 These cutaneous immune-related adverse events (cirAE) encompass common dermatoses including eczema and psoriasis, as well as lichenoid, maculopapular, and immunobullous eruptions.1 Although identification of risk factors for specific cirAE could potentially improve outcomes, research on the association of dermatologic history and morphologic patterns of cirAE is lacking.2
