摘要
The removal of dyes and foodborne pathogens from contaminated water remains a significant challenge. In the present study it was found that the pyroelectric effect produced by BiFeO3 formed by electrospinning and the visible light response ability of BiVO4 synthesized by hydrothermal method could synergistically improve the catalytic efficiency of BiFeO3/BiVO4 nanofiber composites. The degradation rate of RhB and the extinguishing rate of Salmonella could reach 92.7% and 96.47%, respectively, after the combination of hot and cold cycles from 15°C to 45°C and visible light for 180min. Under the combination of hot and cold cycles and photocatalysis, the pyroelectric and photocatalytic electrons and holes were effectively separated, and the migration of charge carriers was accelerated. Thus, the present study demonstrated that the BiFeO3/BiVO4 nanofiber composites has a good application prospect in catalytic degradation.
