The editors are publishing this note to alert readers to concerns with this article (1). Specifically, in Fig. 2 the actin bands used in Fig. 2C are the same as the actin bands used as a loading control for Bcl-2 in Fig. 2D. In addition, in Fig. 2D, the actin loading control bands for Bcl-xL were vertically flipped and reused for the actin loading control bands for Bax. The original data for these experiments could not be obtained by the authors.
