Advances in carbon nanomaterials open up new opportunities for the development of elastic biocompatible nanocomposites with unique properties, including a high mechanical strength. The uniform dispersion of nanoparticles in organic solvents and a polymer matrix are critical issues that must be addressed for the successful production of such materials. The fundamental possibility of modifying single-walled and multi-walled carbon nanotubes and graphene oxide with dodecylamine by the mechanism of the direct interaction of amino groups of the modifying agent with carboxyl groups of the nanomaterials under prolonged heating is shown. The most stable dispersion systems are obtained by the ultrasonic disintegration of carbon nanomaterials modified with dodecylamine in chloroform for 1.5 h. The results obtained open up prospects for the development of nanocomposites based on biocompatible polymers with a uniform distribution of particles over the matrix structure and improved properties.
