摘要
The liquidus temperature (T{sub L}) was measured for simulated glasses from Hanford high-level nuclear waste composition range. The data were compared with three different prediction methods: (1) multicomponent crystallinity constraints (used to identify compositions with T{sub L} > 1050{degrees}C); (2) thermodynamic T{sub L} models based on phase equilibria; and (3) the Savannah River Site (SRS) model based on the free energy of formation of the crystalline phases. First-order T{sub L} models were developed for crystalline phases that precipitated in a sufficient number of glasses.
