High Accuracy Approximate Restoring Divider

In this paper, an approximation model is proposed for restoring divider. To increase accuracy over other approximate divider existing, we designed divider cells that produce truth tables similar to exact divider cells. Approximate factor p is used in the design. Simulation results shows that the proposed divider with p = 2 provides 70% higher quotient accuracy and 40% higher remainder accuracy compared to the existing approximate designs.
