摘要
High-performance separators for lithium-ion batteries demand high thermal stability and ion-selectivity for lithium-ions. In this work, metal–organic frameworks containing unsaturated open metal sites were used as thermally stable separator materials, conferring electrolytes with increased ionic conductivity (from 0.1 to 0.5 mS cm–1), improved lithium-ion transference number (from 0.42 to 0.77), and enhanced electrochemical stability (>5 V vs Li+/Li).
