摘要
The induction motor in the Tesla Model S electric car is very mysterious, so this article attempts to introduce a basic model that considers the problem across multiple disciplines: kinematics, Newtonian mechanics, induction motors, numerical methods, and induction motors for electric drive control. This paper proposes three different steady-state torque-speed curves for the induction motor and analyzes its field weakening operation mode. We propose a mathematical description of the torque and speed curves of an induction motor, which can be applied to vehicle motion modeling. An electromechanical equation also integrates the moment of inertia of the induction motor rotor and the mass of the electric vehicle. The mathematical model analyzes the motion of the Model S electric vehicle as well as the connection between the mechanical gearbox and the induction motor.
