摘要
The increasing demand for sustainable agricultural practices has led to a growing need to develop novel eco-friendly fertilizers that can improve crop productivity and preserve soil quality. Research uses the distinctive characteristics of cellulose as a decomposable, and versatile biopolymer and presents an effective approach to producing fertilizers based on cellulose. This paper describes the synthesis, characterization and evaluation of fertilizers, with a specific emphasis on their ability to improve soil structure, water retention, and nutrient accessibility. Cellulose-based fertilizers are produced utilizing diverse chemical and physical procedures, incorporating nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, along with trace elements and beneficial microorganisms. Cutting-edge analytical techniques help to rigorously investigate the properties of materials such as shape, porosity and surface chemistry. The effectiveness of cellulose-based fertilizers in terms of nutrient release, crop development and yield is evaluated in laboratory and greenhouse environments. The results indicate that cellulose fertilizers can increase crop productivity, nutrient accessibility and soil health and promote sustainable agricultural practices by influencing soil quality parameters such as organic content, microbial activity and water retention abilities. These findings help advance the corpus of knowledge on cellulose-derived products and their uses in agriculture and environmental management, laying the foundation for a more sustainable and fruitful future.
