摘要
Stimuli-responsive fluorescent polymeric hydrogels (FPHs) are water-swollen crosslinked polymer networks with tunable luminescent features. Therefore, they hold the potential to combine the promising properties of fluorescent materials and hydrogels, e.g. tissue-like soft wet nature, biocompatibility, responsive fluorescence, and volume/shape changes. These appealing features have made FPHs widely explored for potential applications in optical sensing, information decryption, soft robotics, and so on. This chapter is intended to summarize the recent important progress in the synthetic strategies and demonstrated applications of stimuli-responsive FPHs.
