Organic Thin‐Film Capacitive and Resistive Humidity Sensors: A Focus Review

Abstract In this paper, organic‐based capacitive and resistive humidity sensors, starting from the fundamental working principles, designs, and characterization, are reviewed. The prevalent adoptions of recent technology in the fabrication of the organic humidity sensors are also discussed. This paper is envisioned to serve as a complete reference guide for researchers who are looking forward to developing a more reliable, economical, and effective humidity sensor using organic/polymeric materials.
