摘要
In order to elucidate intermediate species of electrochemical reduction of CO2 and CO to hydrocarbons, surface species at Cu, Ni, and Fe electrodes were investigated by infrared spectroscopy. The results show that adsorbed CO is intermediate species to hydrocarbons. The reduction activities of adsorbed CO on metal electrodes were discussed.
