摘要
Fractional step lattice Boltzmann methods have been developed for large eddy simulation of 3D incompressible fluid flow. The predictive part uses the D3Q27 equilibrium distribution functions for calculating the velocity and pressure, while the corrective part is the discrete reverse diffusion equation for the velocity with Δxdiffusion ≥ 2Δxlattice. The implemented approach has simple boundary conditions and efficient storage in the GPU memory for the velocity and pressure. Validation is performed for flow around a cylinder and calculations with more than 109 grid points are demonstrated.
