Assessment of left ventricular systolic function by echocardiography

Assessment of left ventricular systolic function is the basis of clinical decision making for heart diseases, and is the most common application of echocardiography. Understanding and mastering the methods of left ventricular systolic function assessment is the basic requirement for learning echocardiographic techniques.
