Three-dimensional (3D) printing produces virtual models. The potential for the practical application in the field of gynecology and obstetrics include three basic development fields: use of 3D standardized models for simulation and preoperative surgical planning of complex processes, education of scientists and informing the patients having had complications, and research in the tissue planning and bioprinting. 3D imaging and 3D printing technologies are the newest addition to fetal imaging. It is expected to change the way of fetal imaging in the most revolutionary way. The benefit of 3D printing is the fact that a reproduction of every selected mass can be fulfilled. It is considered as a new educational way that replaces the processes of a real incident confrontation with artificial models. 3D printing and physical models in the near future will facilitate the tactile and interactive study of complex anomalies in obstetrics and gynecology.
