In article number 2001654, Hongli Zhu and co-workers provide an overview of the recent studies on materials and structures derived from trees. The correlations of materials, structure, properties, and performance of components from different sections of trees, including trunks (stem and bark), leaves, flowers, seeds, and roots, are comprehensively reviewed. An introduction of the corresponding chemistries and preparation methods of different biopolymers from the trees is also given.
