Heteroatom (N, S) assisted CeO 2 nanorod materials exhibited enhanced catalytic efficiency in the synthesis of dimethyl carbonate from CO 2 and methanol, attributed to their superior surface acidity, basicity, Ce 3+ concentration, and oxygen vacancies.
