Epidemiology and diagnostic classification of adults presenting with an initial episode of leukocytoclastic vasculitis: A multicenter review of 440 patients

To the Editor: Although frequently skin-limited, leukocytoclastic vasculitis (LCV) may suggest a broad range of systemic vasculitides and underlying diseases, including infection, autoimmunity, and malignancy. The epidemiology of these associated diseases is incompletely understood, and limited data are available to guide the evaluation of LCV.
