TheAnomala sinicaspecies group from China (Coleoptera: Rutelidae)

Abstract Chinese species of the Anomala sinica species group are revised and seven species plus one subspecies are described as new: A. taeniana, sp. nov., A. amarginata, sp. nov., A. hemiseca, sp. nov. A. pyxexcavata, sp. nov., A. laccata, sp. nov., A. collotra, sp. nov., A. pyxofera, sp. nov., A. microda, sp. nov., and A. perplexa diana, ssp. nov. These species have been put together as a species group as they share similarities in their general features including male and female genitalia. A key to the Chinese species of the group and a discussion of their taxonomy are provided. Key words: Anomala sinica species groupnew speciesnew subspeciesP. R. China
