摘要
Osteochondral fractures of the ulnar articular surface following elbow dislocation in children are rare. An 11-year-old boy fell from a monkey bar and injured his left elbow joint. Imaging revealed posterior dislocation of the elbow joint, osteochondral and anteromedial facet fractures of the ulnar coronoid process, and an avulsion fracture of the lateral collateral ligament. During surgery, the osteochondral fragment was fixed with absorbable pins via a medial approach. The anteromedial fragment was fixed using sutures. The avulsion fracture was managed conservatively. All fractures were fused three months postoperatively. One year postoperatively, the Mayo Elbow Performance Score was 100. There were no arthritic changes. The successful management of an osteochondral fracture of the ulnar coronoid process associated with dislocation in a pediatric patient was performed using osteosynthesis with absorbable pins.
