摘要
Osteoporosis is a systemic bone disease. It commonly happens on people over 50 years old, especially postmenopausal women. As a physiological degenerative disease, its incidence increases with age, which can cause serious physical and psychological problems for patients. With the increasingly serious problem of aging in the world, osteoporosis has attracted much social attention with its high incidence. As a research hotspot in recent years, the intestinal microbiota has been shown to have an effect on a variety of diseases. Multiple studies have shown that the intestinal flora can affect bone metabolism and osteoporosis through various ways and mechanisms. This paper will review the influence of intestinal flora on osteoporosis from three aspects: immunomodulation, endocrine regulation, and metabolites, based on the intestinal flora, and summarize the potential methods of preventing and treating osteoporosis through intestinal flora, which is expected to provide new ideas for finding ways to prevent osteoporosis and new osteoporosis treatment in the future.
