摘要
In article number 2002737 Denis Y. W. Yu, Yanwu Zhu, Wenjun Zhang and co-workers discuss the continuous electrolyte decomposition of common carbonate-based electrolytes, which accelerates the capacity decay of Na2/3Ni1/3Mn2/3O2. It is shown that a fluoroethylene carbonate electrolyte can suppress the successive electrolyte decomposition, thus enabling significantly improved cycle stability for Na2/3Ni1/3Mn2/3O2. Such work provides new solutions to develop low cost and durable sodium-ion batteries for grid-scale applications.
