摘要
Abstract This article addresses the threat posed by invasive exotic species to the environment, including particularly destructive species that have had an impact on the environment resulting in environmental loss and claims. It then proceeds to review the history and current status of the laws and regulations concerning the problem of invasive species. Finally, this article suggests an alternative regulatory framework to deal with the economic and environmental threat posed by invasive exotic species, based upon the polluter pays principle, calling for the creation of incentives for the public to address the problem of invasive species.
