摘要
:This research investigates whether or not there is a relationship between leaders' strategic planning and empowerment of employees. More specifically, in this study, data were collected from an online panel of employees in organizations across the U.S. to determine whether or not their perception of their supervisors' long-term planning behavior showed a relationship to how they are empowered to be good followers or influenced to be poor followers. A Pearson correlation test found a statistically significant, positive relationship between followers' perception of leaders' long-term planning and whether or not they felt empowered toward positive follower behavior.
