A case of gastric cancer with features of submucosal tumor

A small gastric cancer covered with normal-appearing mucosa is often difficult to diagnose endoscopically. In particular, a small tumor suspected to be a submucosal cancer by EUS is extremely difficult to diagnose. Such tumors are often identified incidentally particularly at the early stages of their growth. This is a case of gastric cancer that exhibited features of a submucosal tumor.
