Influence of geologic factors on landslides in Zhaotong, yunnan province, China

To approach the relationship between geologic factors and landslides, the Zhaotong region, an area of 22,434 sq km, with more than 279 landslides is used as an example. A map shows the geology and distribution of landslides, and the report applies a quantitative method, the Grey system theory, to identify that rock type has more effect on landslides than any other geologic factor. Fault density and earthquake intensity have some effect on landslides, but less than rock type.
