摘要
Early in the pandemic, diabetes was recognized as a risk factor for poor prognosis in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Although diabetes does not appear to increase the risk of infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), individuals with diabetes are more susceptible to severe COVID-19.1 Retrospective cohort studies of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 provided a separate line of evidence that acute kidney injury occurs frequently and is associated with increased in-hospital mortality in patients with COVID-19.
