摘要
Abstract Wearable technology is becoming increasingly visible in the daily life for improving human health and performance. Flexible photonics is rapidly emerging as a promising platform for advancing the wearable technology. The development and innovative use of flexible photonic materials play crucial roles in designing flexible sensor devices for wearable applications. Here it is aimed to summarize the key advancements in developing flexible photonic materials and devices for wearable sensing applications. In turn the synthetic strategies, sensing properties, and wearable applications of flexible photonic materials and devices will be comprehensively discussed. Finally, it is attempted to give an outlook on the future challenges and research trends in this fascinating field.
