Aβ amyloid fibrils have been demonstrated to be vital for triggering Alzheimer's disease, as reported by numerous research works. Therefore, Aβ amyloid fibrils formation is considered a hallmark for detecting Alzheimer's disease (AD). Anomalous multiplications of the Aβ precursor protein (APP) gene and mutation of the APP gene lead to AD. Understanding the amyloid formation mechanism could help us design new technologies and methods for its prevention and treatment. Hence it is vital to comprehend the amyloid structure and self-assembly morphology. Many research techniques are available to study peptides, oligomers, and fibrils. Verities of the experimental methods for visualizing the amyloid morphology are still expanding. The electronic microscopy technique is the most widely used approach for assessing amyloid morphology.
