摘要
Due to the particular physiological environment of high blood sugar in diabetic patients, the wound healing of diabetic patients is much more complicated than that of normal wounds, which often brings the risk of the long treatment cycle, expensive medical expenses, amputation, and even death due to persistent infection for diabetic patients with chronic wounds. Metal-organic frame materials (MOFs) are a class of porous nanomaterials with metal ions as the center and organic ligands as connecting bridges. Combining with new transdermal drug delivery systems (TDDS) such as hydrogels, micro-pins, and nanofiber electrospinning, MOFS-TDDS for diabetic wound repair can be prepared with high porosity and high-efficiency local drug delivery properties. In this paper, we discuss the use of MOFs-TDDS in wound repair in diabetic patients over the past five years and discuss the future prospects, mainly including preparation techniques and application studies, hoping to provide an effective solution for wound repair in diabetic patients.
