摘要
In recent years, water-based acrylic emulsions have found extensive applications across various industries including pressure-sensitive adhesives, waterborne coatings, water-based inks, fireproof materials, and anticorrosive coatings. Consequently, there has been a growing interest among researchers in synthesizing and modifying water-based acrylic emulsions to enhance their properties. To optimize the utilization of these emulsions, numerous synthesis and modification techniques have been developed. This paper presents methodologies for synthesizing water-based acrylic emulsions while analyzing their potential applications in the field of water-based inks. Furthermore, it outlines promising directions for future research in this area. Importantly, a comprehensive description is provided regarding the essential properties of water-based inks required by the printing industry. We are optimistic that these advancements will contribute to addressing environmental concerns and promoting the adoption of eco-friendly water-based inks.
