In order to meet the growing demand for high-performance sensors for applications such as smart electronics, motion signal analysis, and human-body monitoring, there is an urgent need to develop flexible pressure sensors with higher sensitivity and simple preparation methods. This Article presents a high-sensitivity flexible fabric-based pressure sensor which employs a three-dimensional (3D)-layered-angle interlocking structure, a 3D through-angle interlocking structure, and a 3D orthogonal structure. Under cyclic pressure recovery operation, this pressure transducer offers excellent electrical responsiveness, high sensitivity, fast response and recovery times (13/17 ms), and outstanding durability and reliability (greater than 1000 cycles). The sensor can be used to detect human mobility and enables a wireless transmission system for monitoring human motion and real-time alarms. This provides a low-cost, simple preparation method and mass production strategy for synthesizing high-performance pressure sensors, thereby further promoting the industrialization and application of sensors.
