摘要
Abstract A convenient one pot method developed for synthesisof fused pyrroloquinazolinone and amino quinazolinone derivatives starting from 2‐bromo benzaldehyde, anthranilamide through in situ formation of2‐(2‐bromophenyl)quinazolin‐4(3 H )‐one and subsequent reaction withdifferent amino acids/cyclic secondary amines under aerobic conditions. The multicomponent protocol mediated by copper (II) salt involves direct amination with 2‐(2‐bromophenyl)quinazolin‐4(3 H )‐one, decarboxylation and cyclization to obtain polycyclic fused quinazolinone or aminated quinazolinone derivatives with the acceptable yields.
