摘要
Abstract Anisotropic transport of polarized photons in organic 2D crystals provides a great opportunity to construct integrated photonic circuits. However, such study remains a critical challenge limited by the precise orientation of molecular transition dipole moment (TDM) and modification of the interaction between photons and molecular TDM. Herein, a stilbene derivative with strong solid‐state photoluminescence is designed and synthesized. The excellent anisotropic polarization‐dependent waveguide occurs in its parallelogram 2D crystal and further enables 463‐ and 493‐nm lasing emissions along the short and long axes of the crystal, respectively. Polarization measurements show that the two lasers with the different wavelengths have mutually orthogonal linear polarizations. These results provide a new strategy for designing orthogonally polarized lasers in single‐component 2D crystals, which may inspire further development of organic photonic devices with controllable polarization properties.
