摘要
Polyphenols are a class of chemical substances widely existing in plants, which have good antioxidant activity. So far, polyphenols are often used as antioxidants and found in a variety of food additives. Polyphenols are also used to fight thrombosis, fight ultraviolet radiation, and prevent osteoporosis. In recent years, the metal phenolic network (MPN) based on polyphenol metal coordination has been recognized in a variety of biomedical functional materials due to its excellent properties. Polyphenols as an excellent organic ligands, can coordinate with a variety of metal ions to form new materials with different morphology and function. This paper will focus on the main characteristics of phenolic networks and their application in cancer therapy.
