Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment for Acute Pancreatitis Research Progress

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is one of the common clinical acute abdominal diseases due to various causes of excessive activation of pancreatic enzymes and excessive inflammatory reaction of the pancreas as the main pathologic mechanism. Nowadays, the clinical treatment of AP is mainly based on the combination of Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, and a large number of studies have confirmed that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) compound as an effective means for the treatment of clinical AP has significant effects. In this paper, the mechanism of Chinese medicine compound treatment of AP is reviewed, aiming to provide ideas and methods for clinical Chinese medicine treatment of AP.
