摘要
γ-AlOOH is the crucial precursor for the preparation of Al2O3 based on the hydrothermal method.The controllable preparation and the oriented growth of γ-AlOOH are vital to the synthesis of Al2O3 with particular morphology.Nano-scale γ-AlOOH with various morphologies,such as whisker,bar,ball and sheet,was synthesized successfully and controllably through a facile hydrothermal method.Based on the analysis of the experimental data,the growth model of nano-scale γ-AlOOH in hydrothermal process was established.It was proposed that the growth unit was determined by the pH of the solution,and the growth direction was determined by the growth unit.One-dimensional γ-AlOOH,such as whisker and bar,is formed in lower pH ranges,spherical nano-scale γ-AlOOH is formed under neutral conditions,and two-dimensional γ-AlOOH such as sheet is formed only in high pH environment following the plane expansion crystallization mechanism.
