摘要
The traditional Haber process for the production of ammonia faces huge energy consumption and the release of a large amount of greenhouse gases. It is necessary to explore a mild, green, and sustainable N 2 fixation strategy. Photocatalysis has attracted much attention due to its environmental friendliness and high effectiveness. This chapter will evaluate the photocatalytic N 2 fixation background, mechanism, influencing factors, and material types and give a brief overview of the current challenges and future prospects.
