Synthesis and Redox Behavior of Si–Si Dimeric 9-Methylsilafluorene

The direct synthesis of Si–Si dimeric 9-dimethylsilafluorene, structural characterization via single crystal X-ray diffraction studies, and electrochemical redox chemistry with DFT electronic structural analysis is reported herein.
