摘要
This study aimed to provide a multi-material lightweight solution for wheels. A carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) rim structure was designed, and a finite element model of the bolted CFRP/aluminum assembled wheel was established. The bending and radial fatigue strengths and the 13° and 90° impact performance of the bolted assembled wheel were analyzed. Then, a structure–connection–performance integration multi-objective optimization was conducted with the fatigue and impact performance as objectives and the structure, connection, and lay-up parameters as design variables. The optimized assembled wheel was fabricated and tested, and results showed that its fatigue and impact performance met the standard requirements.
