Recent Development of Ionic Liquid as Green Solvent for Biocatalysis with Lipase

Ionic liquid is a kind of green solvent.It can be used as an alternative solvent of organic solvents and applied to non-aqueous biocatalysis.In recent years,the application of ionic liquid as green medium for biocatalysis with lipase has been developed rapidly,which mainly includes transesterification,ammonolysis,synthesis and hydrolysis of ester etc reaction systems.A large number of investigations exhibited ionic liquid has a wide industry application prospect in biotransformation reaction as green reaction medium.However,the influence of ionic liquid on catalysis performance of lipase is very complex.Up to now,little information is knew about interaction between ionic liquid and lipase.There are a lot of important problems to be studied in the future.In the paper,the recent development of ionic liquid as green solvent for biocatalysis with lipase was reviewed.
