摘要
The impetus to reduce the emission of sulfur-containing compounds into the environment has become increasingly important in recent years. This paper reviews the progress made towards reaching this goal and highlights the significant contributions made towards developing effective catalysts for the removal of carbonyl sulfide and carbon disulfide. Novel promoter materials, new catalyst morphologies, new reactor designs and developments for the future are reviewed and discussed.
