摘要
Exceptional resistance to sulfur poisoning of the Na–Y zeolite arises from the localization of adsorbed sulfur dioxide on the zeolite in the presence of water. The work shows that Rietveld refinement of guest molecules is a powerful method to determine positions and states of different molecules co-adsorbed on a zeolite (see picture; H2SO3 in yellow (S) and large red spheres (O); zeolite framework in small red (O) and gray (Si or Al) spheres; large gray sphere is the Na cation).
