摘要
In this study, polymeric composite nanofiber consisting of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/gum tragacanth (GT)/molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) were successfully developed via electrospinning process for tetracycline (TCH) delivery. Experimental analysis including UV–vis and XRD indicated that the MoS2 nanosheets were exfoliated. Based on the SEM analysis the prepared nanofiber has a smooth surface with a size diameter below 100 nm. The existence of MoS2 nanosheets in the composite nanofibers significantly improves the tensile strength of nanofibers. Furthermore, the release of TCH from PVA/GT/TCH/MoS2 nanofibers was slower than in comparison with PVA/GT/TCH nanofibers. The antibacterial test demonstrated that the simultaneous presence of THC and MoS2 nanosheets in the nanofiber structure increases the inhibitory effect on bacterial growth. In vitro MTT assay also showed that the PVA/GT/TCH/MoS2 nanofibers have good cytocompatibility. Overall, these features of PVA/GT/TCH/MoS2 nanofibers, which were prepared by the eco-friendly method, can be a promising candidate material in wound healing and drug delivery system.
