The Effect that Different Culture Medium Give to the Growth of Pichia pastoris Yeast Strain

Objectice This Experiment is testing the most suitable culture medium and the right time when the seed liquid is most applicable.Methods There are three kinds of culture medium in this experiment-YPD,BMGY,and compound culture medium.They are used to reform a new strain named Pichia pastoris GS115Muts.The OD is tested every 4 and 24 hours,within 96 hours,in the way of turbidimetric method.Result The compound culture medium and the YPD are the better culture medium in three mediums.And the best time to vaccinate is the period between 12 and 24 hours.Conclusion Pasteur Pichia yeast Strain is closely related to the Suitable medium and appropriate inoculation time.
