摘要
An artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) screen with broad 10 dB radar cross section (RCS) reduction bandwidth (8.3-19.1 GHz, 78%) and polarization independence is proposed, which is arranged in a chessboard-like configuration by blending a combination of single-and dual-band AMCs. Dual orthogonal antenna arrays, in which each array is composed of two crank-line antennas, are arranged at the boundary between two different AMCs. They are responsible for x- and y- polarized radiation with same peak gain 13.5 dBi, and a wide-angle detection of two orthogonal planes.
