The humidity sensor behaviour at high and low ambient temperature is always a matter of great interest. However, the role of temperature is critical to understand the sensor behaviour. The study of temperature effect is challenging because of its repercussion on humidity level present inside the test chamber. In this work, a simplified and cost-effective scheme is proposed to expose the sensor at different temperature as well as humidity. The designed test chamber facilitates the localized heating of the sensor without altering the humidity level inside the chamber. To study the effectiveness of testing chamber, a sol-gel based, ϒ-Aluminium oxide sensor with interdigitated structure has also been utilized. Further studies and experiments have been conducted at different Relative Humidity (%RH) and temperature. The experimental results are in well agreement with the theoretical observations.
