In order to deepen the understanding of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Concrete (HyFRC) and to clarify the existing research progress and future research directions, this study adopts the literature review method to summarizes and reviews the relevant research on HyFRC. By putting forward four key problems, this paper systematically reviews the core research progress of HyFRC, including quantitative evaluation of hybrid effects, mechanism of hybrid effects, relationship between mechanical properties and dosage, fatigue performance and durability, constitutive model, application and manufacturing, etc. The research demonstrates that the effect of concrete working temperature and fiber orientation angle on the reinforcement effect of fibers under different sizes and shapes, the reinforcement mechanism of micro-nano fibers under multi-scale fiber mixing, the size effect mechanism and the size effect of the crack propagation process need to be further studied. Regarding the fatigue prediction method with strong applicability, the side effect of steel fiber resistance to chloride ion penetration, the quantitative relationship between corrosion resistance and pore structure, and the law of durability deterioration under multi-factor coupling are still in the exploratory stage. Future development directions include the establishment of dynamic or theoretical constitutive models under complex stress conditions, mesoscopic level-based constitutive models, and the related numerical simulation implementation methods.
