Highly Enantio- and Diastereoselective Construction of Spirocyclic Oxindoles via a Palladium-Catalyzed Decarboxylative Asymmetric [4 + 2] Annulation Strategy

We developed an asymmetric [4 + 2] annulation reaction of methyleneindolinones with precursors of oxo-1,4-dipole, for which geometric purity of methyleneindolinones was not necessary.
