Synthesis, Structure, and Photoluminescent Property of a New In(III) Coordination Polymer Based on m-Phthalic Acid

A new luminescent coordination polymer, namely [HN(CH3)2]n[In(mbdc)2]n·n(DMA) (1 H2mbdc = m-phthalic acid, DMA = N, N′-Dimethylacetamide), has been successfully synthesized and structurally characterized. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that 1 is a two-dimensional layered structure, which is further stacked into a three-dimensional supramolecular framework through intermolecular CH···π interactions.
